There is nothing more frustrating than capturing an amazing new baby talent on camera only to find them fuzzy and blurry (that is once you finally get them from your camera to the computer). I've been very lucky to have a talented photographer mama friend (uftah, long title CB!), who has taken Brynn's pictures thus far. She went off and moved to the Minneapolis area and we couldn't make the trip for a 6 month photography visit and play date with boyfriend Finn.
Get where I'm going here? I had to suck it up and try and figure out my Canon Rebel. CB has been trying to teach me tricks and tips for years meanwhile always telling me, "You just have to keep the camera out and do it. You'll only learn if you do it, so quit being a chicken." Probably phrased with sarcasm because I really have been a chicken.
Daddy was gone on a Guard trip so we transferred the entire living room into Studio 36, cleverly our house number. All it really took was mid-morning light, the AV setting, tons of pieces of fabric, a white sheet and squeaky toys.
But as you can tell from the images below she was more fascinated with 'that black thing in my face.' I am lucky enough to have been given training at 'Shoot Fly Shoot' through work to better develop our product photography on our website am really looking forward to digging in!
I think they turned out pretty cute. Call me biased but a cute subject sure helps, and lots of drool.
